When you have an accident you want to be back on the road as fast as possible but sometimes repairs can be extensive. Although Cornhill Direct’s standard policy includes a free courtesy vehicle, when you have your vehicle repaired by an approved repairer, it won’t cover you if your vehicle is stolen. You may want the extra peace of mind our 14 day Van Hire can offer at a price of from £36 to £60 per annum.

Complete Breakdown Rescue
Sometimes vehicles break down and when they do you want a speedy and reliable response from your breakdown service. Complete Breakdown Rescue aims to provide you with a friendly and efficient service both here in the UK and in Europe (please check before travelling that your destination is included).
Complete Breakdown Rescue is designed to provide motoring assistance to you after a breakdown or an accident. It is reassuring to know that you are only a phone call away from our dedicated and experienced staff. Benefits of this service include:
- 24 hour Emergency Helpline
- Home and Roadside assistance
- Recovery of your vehicle and up to 5 passengers
- If we cannot get you back on the road we will take you to your destination, your home or an approved garage, provided an approved garage can be found within a 10 mile radius of the incident
- The provision of a replacement driver if the only driver is ill or injured
- Message forwarding to a colleague or relative
- European motoring assistance included
All this for just £75 a year.
Eligible vehicles must weigh no more than 3.5 tonnes fully loaded, and be under 5.5m long and 2.3m wide.

At just £18 per annum, Cornhill Direct legal protection offers you cover for unexpected and expensive legal costs that could arise in the event of a road accident in which you suffer personal injury whilst you are in, on or getting into or out of your vehicle. This valuable extra cover provides you with:
Up to £100,000 in any one claim to cover

- Your opponent’s costs which you may be ordered to pay by a court or tribunal
