Citroen's latest models may suit cash-strapped van insurance customers
Hard-up van insurance customers may find they can cut costs with Citroen's latest range of vehicles, it has been suggested.

The Relay Specialist line-up features a Tipper, Dropside and two Luton models.

Commercial vehicle operations manager Robert Handyside said the vans offer excellent value for money.

He stated: "It is possible, with our current pricing structure, for customers to purchase these new manufacturer approved vehicles for less than the 2009 equivalent Ready to Run models."

The vans in the latest range come with either a two-year, unlimited mileage or three-year/100,000-mile warranty.

Citroen also claimed the line-up includes better standard equipment than the Ready to Run vehicles.

All models feature reinforced, twin-leaf suspension and the Luton vans come with aerodynamic head covers that improve performance and cut fuel consumption.

Meanwhile, drivers who vote for their favourite fry-up in Citroen's quest to find Britian's Best Brekkie are in with a chance of driving away with a brand new Berlingo model.
