Allianz Commercial has announced Stephen Brown has taken on the role of strategic account manager.

Mr Brown will be in charge of the strategic ownership of certain broker partner accounts - such as relationship management, opportunity assessment and delivering bespoke solutions.

He expressed delight at joining the insurer.

Mr Brown said he had been attracted to the role as a result of "the importance that Allianz Commercial place on driving the maximisation value and profitable growth with strategic partners" and "the strength of the Allianz market proposition".

Previously, the latest addition to the company's team worked for Zurich as an account manager for a number of personal and commercial partnerships.
