New Ford Ka could tempt car insurance customers

New Ford Ka could tempt car insurance customers
Car insurance customers looking to reduce their outgoings could be tempted by a new offering from Ford.

The vehicle manufacturer explains its new Ka is now on sale and that the insurance rating on it begins at 1E - the lowest possible rating - for its Studio model.

Each of the other cars in the range are rated 2E.

Ford states a number of the features on the new vehicles, including shielded door and ignition locks, contribute to the low insurance rating.

"These low ratings reflect the range of safety features available on the new model, including a very stiff body structure with reinforced steel door beams and Ford's Intelligent Protection System which integrates airbags, seat belts and seating technologies," the marque adds.

In other news, Ford announced its new ECOnetic has been named the UK's greenest family car by a number of independent analysts - which could help to reduce the insurance premiums of its drivers.ADNFCR-1058-ID-18997240-ADNFCR
