Car Insurance News - Published: 19/01/2009

According to the manufacturer, the C1 Splash could help drivers cut costs in a number of areas, describing it as "the ideal city car to cruise through the credit crunch".
It explained the model falls into the group one insurance category and offers fuel economy of 62.8 mpg - meaning motorists may find the vehicle helps them to save money at the pump.
The carmaker also pointed out the Splash boasts CO2 emissions of 106 g/km and is therefore eligible for low cost road tax.
Available in three and five-door versions, the vehicle features electric front windows, remote central locking and air conditioning.
Prices start at £7,345 and buyers can choose between the colours Electra Blue and Lipizian White.
In other news, Citroen recently announced that it had released environmentally-friendly versions of its C3 and C4.
