The rental company has produced some handy hints which it says could help keep people safe on the road.
According to the firm, motorists should allow extra time for journeys in the winter due to poor weather conditions.
Leaving a couple of minutes early to ensure windows are completely free of ice and mist was also recommended.
In addition, Europcar advised drivers travelling in the dark to give their eyes time to adjust before starting the engine.
Catriona Lougher, marketing director with the company, said: "The risk of bad weather means motorists should take added precautions - looking after their car and ensuring they have everything they need in case of an emergency."
Choosing the best possible car insurance policy may also provide motorists with extra peace of mind.
