Car insurance customers 'could be risking a claim'

According to TyreSafe, it is particularly important to check tyre pressure at this time of year as heavily-laden vehicles require their levels to be changed.
It explained if a vehicle is weighed down with passengers and luggage, these factors need to be taken into account.
The group added all the information motorists need will be contained in their vehicle's handbook.
Chairman of TyreSafe Rob Beddis stated: "Although fewer cars are on the road over the Christmas period, the number suffering from tyre-related problems is alarming."
He warned failing to conduct a tyre checks could result in a blowout accident and a subsequent car insurance claim.
