Car insurance customers 'must stay vigilant'
Car Insurance News - Published: 17/12/2008

Thames Valley police have been offering drivers advice on how to reduce their chances of becoming a victim of vehicle crime.
As part of its crime-free Christmas campaign, the force has been reminding vehicle owners to keep valuables out of sight of thieves.
They have also been warned not to leave Christmas presents in unattended motors.
Rob Stanton from Wokingham borough council stated: "I can understand the need to drop some things off in cars while you carry on shopping, but if they are in cars they are an advertisement to thieves."
In addition, motorists were advised not to leave valuables in the boot, after a number of laptops were stolen in such circumstances.
Meanwhile, Thames Valley police recently announced two motorists had their vehicles seized in Bracknell, after being caught driving without car insurance.
