Drivers 'should keep car keys in the bedroom at night'
Car Insurance News - Published: 04/12/2008

Thames Valley police suggested drivers keep their keys in their bedroom at night, after a Mitsubishi Evo was stolen from a drive in Aylesbury.
Burglars entered the vehicle owner's house, found the car keys and made a getaway in the victim's motor.
Kama Wager, crime reduction adviser, said drivers could make things harder for thieves by making sure their keys are never too far away.
She added motorists could make life really difficult for criminals by installing a collapsible bollard on their driveway.
Ms Wager also reminded people to lock all doors and windows downstairs, remembering to remove keys once this has been done.
Elsewhere in the Thames Valley area, school pupils have been getting involved with a road safety campaign, aimed at getting speeding drivers to slow down.
