Citroen scoops 3 van awards
Van insurance customers may not be surprised to hear that Citroen drove away with three of the top honours at a recent awards ceremony.

During the Van Fleet Awards, the new Berlingo was named both Van of the Year and Best Small Van, while the Nemo scooped the top spot in the Best City Van category.

Citroen said the former's success is a result of excellent green credentials and a competitive overall fleet package.

It added the Nemo had proved popular because of the range of options available to businesses - such as longer warranties and a dual fuel model.

Robert Handyside, Citroen's commercial vehicle operations manager, commented: "We are delighted that the innovative design and advanced engineering of both the new Berlingo and Nemo vans have been recognised in the prestigious Fleet Van Awards."

Last month, the manufacturer revealed it was expanding its range of light commercial vehicles with the introduction of the new Berlingo L2.
