New Mini Convertible unveiled
Car Insurance News - Published: 01/12/2008

With a launch date of March 28th, the next generation of this iconic British car will be available in the Cooper and Cooper S models, featuring new engine technologies promising to up the ante as far as performance and fuel economy are concerned.
Built on the success of the first Mini Convertible, style seems to be a big issue with this small car the shoulder line has been raised and it now has a chrome strip extending around the body.
In addition, the vehicle's low roofline, wheels and short overhangs of the car give it an even sportier aesthetic.
Safety features - which will be of importance to those looking for a car insurance quote online - include a single-piece roll bar located behind the rear seats, which aims to protect passenger in the event of a collision.
Recently, artist Alan Aldridge created a bespoke design for a Mini, which he exhibited at the Design Museum in London.
