Future for Nissan sales looks "difficult"
Car Insurance News - Published: 05/11/2008

October sales in Europe reached 40,629 and the outlook for the near future is a bleak one, said the company.
Nissan's vice president for the European branch of sales Francois Goupil de Bouille said: "Despite another challenging month across Europe, Nissan maintained sales performances in some key markets such as Italy and France and saw growth in the Ukraine and Belgium."
But he added that the company foresees little improvement and market conditions are likely to remain "very difficult".
The worst selling Nissan models last month were the Pathfinder and Primastar, only 1,300 of which, combined, were purchased.
This gap in automotive sales could highlight the financial strain currently felt by drivers.
According to What Car?, people on tighter budgets now believe they are likely to be priced off the road after paying for their vehicles, car insurance, and maintenance and servicing costs.
