Reduced vehicle crime in South Yorkshire
Car Insurance News - Published: 27/10/2008

Car insurance customers will be pleased to hear that police have recorded a drop of 8.4 per cent.
And the past six months have seen 879 fewer victims than the same period of last year.
Deputy Chief Constable Bob Dyson said: "We have continued to make significant reductions in crimes which have been highlighted as priorities for our communities."
DCC Dyson claimed that while figures dropped in South Yorkshire the rest of the country has seen a rise in crime.
Despite a lower risk of crime, South Yorkshire residents have been warned against cutting costs by reducing their insurance cover.
An American Express survey has recently revealed that two per cent of Brits who are currently feeling the pinch in their pockets plan to cancel their car cover to cut outgoings.
