"Sentimental" items stolen from family
Home Insurance News - Published: 08/10/2008

West Midlands police are appealing for information relating to the incident in York Avenue, Compton, Wolverhampton on Monday September 29th.
Burglars stole a number of electrical items and jewellery, as well as a memory card that contained family photographs.
Stating that the photos, which included images of the family's children, are "obviously of great sentimental value", police called for those with information to get in touch.
Last month, police warned residents in Coventry about the risk of distraction burglaries in the area.
A number of incidents were reported where criminals claiming to be from the council attempted a number of burglaries.
PC Mick Walters said the men had targeted elderly people and encouraged anyone approached in this way to speak to the police.
Coventry Trading Standards advised homeowners to check identification and to look out for their elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may be at risk.
