Legal website launched for motorists
A new service has been launched to provide assistance to drivers who have broken the UK's traffic laws, which may be of benefit to car insurance customers.

Richard Nelson Solicitors have developed the Keepmedriving website to give motorists practical information on a variety of driving issues.

Commenting on the service, Richard Nelson said the chance of a motorist losing their licence is "far greater today than ever before".

Jonathan Wright, from the firm's office in Cardiff, said the website was aimed at ensuring people do not lose their jobs and mobility by being disqualified from driving.

"Many drivers don't realise that having points on your licence can increase your insurance costs. We aim to help them avoid getting those points and, in the worst case scenario, losing their licence," he remarked.

A recent survey conducted by RoadPilot found that 53 per cent of motorists think they are often distracted by having to keep a look out for speed cameras.
