Flood victim to take out insurance

Rhian Collins' home in Merthyr Vale was flooded when a local river burst its banks, the Western Mail reports.
The 25-year-old told the newspaper that even though her home had been disinfected and emergency services had pumped out all of the water, it still smelled of sewage.
"I wasn't insured but I'm going to get insurance now," Ms Collins remarked.
Earlier this year, the Association of British Insurers announced that it had come to an agreement with the government to continue offering insurance to those households affected by the last year's flooding in Gloucestershire and the Midlands.
Nick Starling, director of general insurance and health, said insurers dealt with 180,000 claims and paid out £3 billion following the flooding in the region.
The agreement should ensure that flood insurance is still "widely available" to homeowners and businesses in the area, he added.
