How fast have you wheelie bin going?

People living in Merley, in partnership with the Broadstone and Merley Safer Neighbourhood Team, are attaching speed notices to their wheelie bins, the Dorset Echo reports.
PC Suzie Corsie from the team said drivers who were disobeying the speed limit were causing a problem for residents in the area.
"I am confident signage on rubbish bins - which will be visible from the road twice a week - will remind drivers that there is a 30mph speed limit in force in the area," she told the newspaper.
Laura Bowden, who lives in the area, said speeding motorists made her "very concerned" about the welfare of her family.
Earlier this week, Central Scotland police reported that it had undertaken an operation over the weekend to target speeding motorists, car insurance customers may be interested to learn.
Officers gave out warnings to 160 drivers during the initiative.
