Holiday home insurance warning
Home Insurance News - Published: 15/07/2008

Graeme Trudgill, from the British Insurance Broker's Association, claims some people do not take out an insurance policy for houses they own abroad due to costs and the fact they may be unsure about where to get appropriate cover.
He said the cover is widely available and warned those looking to save money as their finances become stretched due to the credit crunch they could run into problems in the future.
"The message is to get out there because if you do get bad weather or any kind of incident then it could be extremely complicated and expensive to try and [put it right]," Mr Trudgill stated.
According to research by moneysupermarket.com in March this year, 40 per cent of property owners in the UK did not have home insurance cover.
