Consumers will find it 'harder and harder' to get insurance

The party's shadow environment secretary, Steve Webb, claims many people's properties are at a high-risk of flooding and defences against such events are inadequate.
He added many homes are being built in areas vulnerable to flood damage and the emergency services are poorly equipped to deal with the situation.
Mr Webb claims a joined up approach to tackle flood risk across the government in order to address the issue.
"Householders are going to find it harder and harder to get insurance and almost impossible to sell their homes unless the government gets a grip on this issue," he said.
The floods suffered in the UK last summer led to insurance companies handling more than 165,000 claims and they paid out approximately £3 billion for the damage caused.
