North Wales Police turn to Honda Fireblades

Being caught speeding and receiving points on a license can result in insurance providers increasing the cost of their cover and the 180bhp machines can reach speeds of up 179 mph making them difficult to escape, reports the Daily Post.
A spokesperson for the North Wales Police said: "We are very serious about tackling the causes of road casualties around the roads of North Wales."
In addition to the Honda Fireblades, the force is also due to receive two Honda VFRs.
Bikers who wish to buy a Fireblade themselves may be interested to read that the machine is in insurance group 17 and costs in the region of £9,000. The Honda VFR has a top speed of 155mph and in ranked in insurance group 14, reports Motorcyclenews.com.
