Allianz launches new team

Allianz launches new team
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has set up a team of broker development and key account managers to strengthen ties with clients in the UK.

The broker development team comprises Matt Briggs, who will be in charge of non-marine brokers, Adrian Higgins, who will be in charge of the aviation sector, and Ryan Godfrey who will coordinate marine and regional business.

Making up the key account team will be Gavin Lillywhite, Chris Thevenot and Shaun Edwards, who had previously worked in the company's Customer Focus strategy, and each will concentrate on service delivery and liaising with clients.

Philip Cremer, head of market management and communication in the UK, said the appointments were the first step in the company's investment in the UK markets.

"This new team will allow us to build on our already strong relationships with clients and brokers, including further developing our corporate and specialty services within the important UK regional markets," he said.

AGCS was created in 2005 as a result of the merger between Allianz Global Risks and Allianz Marine & Aviation.
