Brits face road rage threat

Brits face road rage threat
British motorists face a significant risk from road rage incidents, according to new figures.

More than 300,000 drivers have had their vehicles damaged as a result of a dispute with a fellow road user.

Furthermore, 7.4 million drivers have been involved in a road rage incident.

"Our study did not thankfully find any evidence of physical assault but that is perhaps more down to luck than anything else," said Sean Gardner of the personal finance website, MoneyExpert.com.

"The fact that one in six of us has suffered from road rage is worrying. And of course many of us may be guilty of road rage ourselves."

The figures underline the need for proper insurance cover, especially as so many road rage incidents lead to vehicles being damaged.
