Welsh drivers enjoy time to think
Published: 08/04/2008

Respondents to a poll by Confused.com, a price comparison website, said driving was a valuable opportunity for some 'me-time'.
What they think about varied from town to town, with 43 per cent of Cardiff drivers worrying about money and life issues.
However, in Aberystwyth, almost two-thirds (62 per cent) said they thought about nothing at all.
"It is interesting that a huge proportion of drivers only get the chance to enjoy valuable 'me-time' when they are out and about in their cars," commented Debra Williams, managing director of Confused.com.
"Our research shows that the majority of people in Wales use their cars as havens where they can dwell on their problems, work, money, their love-lives and families - especially if they are based in Cardiff."
It is little wonder drivers in Cardiff are worried about money as the price of fuel has risen sharply this year.
As well as keeping their cars running, drivers also have to find the most affordable finance deals and the lowest car insurance premiums.
