Number plate auction celebrates Welsh pride

The DVLA, which has its headquarters in Swansea, is hoping to cash in on a particularly strong feeling of national pride following the recent rugby Six Nations win.
Boxer Joe Calzaghe, another reason for Welsh sports fans to feel proud of their country, has been enlisted to help promote the auction, entitled 'WEL 5H'.
"WEL 5H is all about Welsh pride and we couldn't ask for a better ambassador than Joe to help promote our next auction," said Damian Lawson, marketing manager for DVLA personalised registrations.
The number plates will be auctioned off at the Celtic Manor resort between April 16th and 18th.
Calzaghe, who will be in the US at the time of the auction hoping to extend his 44-fight unbeaten run with a victory over Bernard Hopkins, added: "It's a knock-out 'WEL 5H' plate and I hope to do my own knocking out for Wales when I face Hopkins."
