Troubled Erinaceous rocked by defection
Troubled property services group Erinaceous has been rocked by the defection of Simon Millar from its insurance arm to Lockton's real estate and construction division.

Mr Millar was a key member of the Erinaceous insurance unit, with Lockton's claiming he was its biggest fee earner for the last two years.

He had served as business development director for the insurance subsidiary arm known as Cadogan Keelan Westall.

In his new post at Lockton's he will be responsible for client relationships and developing new business.

Richard Owen, from Lockton's, told the Post magazine that he "was delighted to welcome Simon" to the team.

Mr Millar, also talking to the Post, said: "I am very much looking forward to working with the highly experienced team in London and utilising their market leading knowledge, facilities and systems."

There are reports that Erinaceous is labouring under a mountain of debt and may try reducing the burden by selling its insurance arm.
