Vehicle provider turnover hits £40 million
Car Crash Line, a company providing car insurers with vehicles for policyholders who require temporary transport, has reported turnover as reaching £40 million.

The firm, which was established in 1997, says its fleet of vehicles now exceeds 6,500.

It has 16 branches across the UK that handle over 4,000 deliveries every month.

Wholly owned web-based subsidiary, Flexxilease, a major contributor to the group's figures, was formed in 2003 following the group's purchase of One Stop Car Shop Ltd.

Barrie Hobbs, group chief executive of Car Crash Line Group, told the Post magazine that it remained the company's ambition to float the company this year.

"Our continued focus on quality of service and dedication to the goal of sustainable growth and outstanding customer centric service, we are well placed to continue to gain market share," he added.

In related news, which may also be of interest to directors of the Car Crash Line Group, price comparison website insurancewide.com has warned motorists to take common sense measures during the current cold snap to avoid a prang.

They include taking heed of speed limits, not breaking or accelerating suddenly on icy roads and generally being more aware of road conditions.
