Conseco appoints Tongson

To take up the appointment he left Swiss Re Life and Health Americas, where he had served as executive vice president and chief actuary since 2003.
He will report to Mark Alberts, executive vice president and chief actuary at the company.
Mr Alberts said: "Tim is a great addition to our actuarial and financial management team. He brings a breadth of experience in leadership positions which will be very beneficial as we continue to transform Conseco."
Mr Tongson has spent 28 years as an actuary after gaining a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.
Conseco is the holding company for a group of insurers in the US.
