City contract awarded to Allianz Engineering

Allianz Engineering is set to provide insurance and inspection services to the City of London.
The insurer has been awarded the contract to insure and inspect a host of famous landmarks, as well as providing cover for loss of revenue at the Barbican Centre in the event of broken plant and equipment.
Allianz Engineering will now insure and inspect plant and equipment at Tower Bridge, the Barbican Centre, the Old Bailey, Guildhall, Museum of London, Billingsgate Fish Market, Leadenhall Market and Spitalfields Market.
Jonathan Oldfield, account development manager, Allianz Engineering said: "This is a substantial and valuable business win and we are delighted to have secured it. We have worked very closely with the appointed brokers, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, and we are delighted that our proposition and expertise in this area has been recognised as the best."
