Conditions of Quote

The information that you provide and the declarations that you make when obtaining a quote are the basis of the contract of insurance between you and Allianz Insurance plc.

When providing information in order to obtain your commercial vehicle insurance policy you must ensure all the information given is true and complete and that all material facts are disclosed.

A material fact is one that is likely to influence us in the assessment or acceptance of this risk e.g. any offence including non motor related offences. If you are in any doubt as to whether a fact is material, you must disclose it. You can telephone us free phone on 0800 32 888 31.

Failure to ENSURE THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE AND THAT ALL MATERIAL FACTS HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED may mean that your policy becomes invalid or does not operate in the event of claim.

Please confirm that the following statements are true.

You or your business own the vehicle subject of this insurance;
You or your business are the registered keeper of the vehicle;
You and all other drivers of your vehicle:

• have not been refused insurance or had terms imposed, had cover cancelled or declined;
• have not been convicted of any non-motor criminal offence, have any criminal prosecutions pending or received a police caution in the last 5 years;
• have not been required to notify a medical condition to the DVLA or if a driver has, the DVLA have confirmed that the driver can keep their licence;
• have not been disqualified from driving at any time in the last 5 year; and
• have no connection with any of the following business or professions, entertainment industry, fashion industry, foreign service or diplomatic personnel, gambling industry, general dealers, market traders, mini-cab drivers, professional sports, salvage or scrap merchants.

Drivers are required by law to inform the Drivers Medical Branch at the DVLA if they have any disability (including any physical or mental condition) which is or may become likely to affect their fitness as a driver.

The vehicle:

• is a UK model and manufactured specifically for sale and use in the UK (Cornhill Direct do not insure vehicles imported other than by the manufacturers normal procedures for UK market vehicles);
• is registered in the UK;
• is right-hand drive;
• is not a motor caravan or car with only three wheels;
• has 8 seats or less
• is less than 3.5 tonne GVW

The vehicle is not used in connection with or for:

• the motor trade;
• racing, competitions, rallies, trials or on track days;
• regular carriage of hazardous or dangerous goods or equipment; or
• airside use
